What ConvertScreen ("we", "us", "our") collects, why, and what you can do about it. Questions: raghvendrsupport@gmail.com.

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to run the service and to bill for it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your screenshots to train models.

What we collect

• Account details — if you sign in: your email address and the sign-in provider you used, held in Firebase Authentication.
• Plan and usage — your plan, your AI usage, and a per-month count of AI calls, so billing and limits work.
• Analytics — anonymous, aggregated events about which steps of the tool get used (uploading, choosing a template, exporting), via Google Analytics for Firebase. This tells us where people get stuck. It does not include your screenshots or your captions.
• Payment records — handled by Razorpay. We receive confirmation of what you bought and when, plus a payment id. We never see your card details.

Your screenshots

Screenshots and projects you upload or create may be stored in our cloud storage — for example, so you can reopen a project on another device. We do not promise a fixed retention period; content is kept for as long as we need it to provide the service and may be removed when it's no longer needed, including without notice.

When you use an AI feature, the screenshots that feature needs are sent to a third-party AI provider to produce the result.

Who else is involved

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, cloud storage, hosting, analytics.
• A third-party AI provider — the AI features described above (captions, layouts, translations).
• Razorpay — payment processing. Razorpay is a payment gateway; it does not see your account activity beyond what's needed to process a payment.
• Upstash — rate-limit counters. Sees a hashed identifier, not content.

Your rights

If you are in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you the right to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or take it elsewhere. Write to raghvendrsupport@gmail.com and we will act within one month. This applies wherever you are, not only in the EU/UK — write to us and we'll act on it.

Deleting your account removes your profile, plan record and cloud projects. Records we must keep for tax or accounting reasons are kept for as long as the law requires and no longer.

How long we keep things

We don't promise a fixed retention period for any category of data. As a general rule: account and plan data is kept while your account exists; screenshots and projects are kept for as long as needed to provide the service and may be removed at our discretion; payment records are kept as long as tax law in India requires; analytics events follow Google Analytics' own retention settings.

Children

The service is meant for app developers and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
